We're off.  Got the go ahead.  Estella will have surgery on her hip when we get back in 3 months.  It's a relief that we can go now, but I know in the back of my mind I'll be thinking about her surgery, and then she'll need a cast for a while and then a brace.  Time to focus on packing now... summer here we come!

Christmas 2010 was small, simple, but wonderful. It was Estalla's first Christmas. It was Minol's first Christmas where he "got it". Saturday's girls only classes are great! I'm really enjoying teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu! I couldn't help myself- I had to dress Estella up in her little gi to take some photos! Last week we went on a family date to Richmond. We had a nice meal. I ate quail. I don't think I've had it before so I gave it a go. Nice! Different! (It beat Hogs Breath for sure!) Love it when Minol plays with Estella! "Ooooh, Stewa" he says, goes goo goo gaaa, has a little conversation, gives her kisses and lately offers his fingers for her to suck. It's all lovely until she grabs hold of him and doesn't let go! This play time ended in tears. Estella grabbed his hair and he screamed! Haha. Go Estella!

I found it absolutely hilarious today... ok, so Minol decides to take us (Minol Jr, Estella and I) to eat at Hogs Breath for lunch. We get there, walk in and wait a few minutes to be seated. Estella slept through the night last night. This is about the third time. Good girl. I'm still trying to get her and Minol to coordinate their good nights. But I have to say, even though Minol came sneaking into his favourite spot between Daddy and I at 4 in the morning, his little "Mumma..." "What?!" "Lub you" made it all worth while!

Just a few pics from our fun Easter hunt at the Botanical Gardens. As always it's a big hit for the kiddies! Just as everyone was leaving Minol took off up one of the hills with Livy. I had to dump Estella and do a runner up the hill after them as they headed out of sight. I love these pics of them holding hands! Livy was such a good little help guiding Minol back up to the car!

This is Estella's baby quilt made with LOVE by Grandma (I helped a little this time but didn't do any of the quilting like with Minol's baby quilt so Mum gets all the credit). I think it's such a nice tradition making a quilt when a new baby comes along!

My little baby is officially 2 years old. Because of his Batman obsession we had a super hero party for him- just an excuse to dress him up in leggins with undies over the top. I had my second girls only jiu-jitsu class today! I'm loving it! It helps that these girls rock and are naturals! Rachel is a pro already... all that training at home with Paul and the kids has given her a huge advantage! Haha... pick the before and after shots?! This was also Estella's first training. This moment just made my heart melt! Minol was sitting over on his batman seat. I put Estella on the shark bean bag and asked him to "watch" Estella while I went to the loo. I came back to this! I swear I wasn't long! Minol had fallen asleep next to Estella while she was sucking away on his fingers. So cute.

We had a lovely week in Queensland, shame to come home to all the rain and COLDNESS! It was great to spend time with the family and also to have a couple of days on the Gold Coast. Minol had fun playing/competing with Ollie! Big Minol had fun trying out his new surfboard. One little boy is very good at copying. He really wanted to wear a pair of daddy's undies but unfortunately they didn't QUITE fit! So Minol bought him some little boy undies which he was happy to pose in (and wear over the top of his nappy of course)!

I can't remember if it was blooming or blossoming, it was one of the two... Anyway, someone commented that I was "blooming" which makes me chuckle to myself. Now look who's ready for training! We cut up one of Minol's old gi's and good ol' Ma put together this little number! THANKS MUM!! He is getting very good at his training... his jumping, push ups, sit ups... PUNCHING!! So making most of a nice day, we took Minol back to ZOODOO to see the animals again. We went with Bink, Scarlett and Ollie back in April and Minol loved it. He just loves animals and makes the noises of most of them. It was nice to have mum with us. She became the grandma taxi, with Minol always wanting her to pick him up and carry him around.
