The BEST ride ever- (eejanaika)

Saturday´s Adventure was going to the amusement park... oh yeah! How´s about that adrenaline! Best ride was the eejanaika which holds a record for the amount of turns or something. We went on it twice. On the same day though at another place a girl was killed on a rollercoaster when her cart came off the rails!! CRAZY CRAZY!

What a beautiful Tassie morning! Especially for all those surfers out there who enjoy a morning surf. Well I had my first surf today and hooley dooley I even stood up on the board whilst catching a wave! Little wave but a wave nevertheless. So WHOOHOO!

TFY

First training in Melbourne for the TFY crew. These are the councellors from Tassie (minus me cos I won't actually be there for the real thing). It was such a loooooong day. Up at 4am to get to the airport by 5am. Then training, training, training, then back to the airport and on a plane, back to Hobart at about 10ish pm. In bed by quarter to 12. Ffffeeeeeeew!

How cool are these bracelets. Only 50 bucks from Salamanca. Bargain. Hehehe. Ok, so we really made them out of left over coat hanger wire. It was funny though, cos we went to Melbourne the following day and I left my dodgy wire bracelet in my bag and hey... I got it through the baggage check! Sharp nasty edges and all!

Why I Love Brissy

Just some pics from Brissy of Ank, Pud and I swim, swim, swimming in the pool. I love being able to dive into water that's not icy cold! Which is typical of the water in Tassie even in the summer! REFRESHING!

Minol

The latest...

Spending a week or so in Brisbane, just soaking up the sun- last chance as school goes back next week. I'm back to relief teaching so fun fun for everyone! Minol went back to Japan after spending 28 days in Tas. Very sad to see him go but I'm planning a trip to Japan so we'll see... I'll keep you posted! More about life later, gotta go eat!

Sunday Stroll

I will never go for a stroll up the bush with mum and dad again! They are crazy!
"Lets go this way back," says Dad, heading into the thick brush of dry grass and pokey sticks. Mum and I follow trusting this is the best way back. WRONG! Although it was quite an adventure reaching the house I had to put up with mum and dad and their crazy commentating. Gotta love them! Nice view from the top of the hill too, so all in all it was a nice little outing.
