Another day at the beach

More cool fishing boats at this beach! And my cool friend Karyn.

Needles

wittle birdies

We found this nest of little birdies in a car park! Hungry little things!

No more RAIN!

Rain season is officially over. We´ve been having beautiful sunny HOT days! Perfect for the beach! I love the fishing boats on the water. And the ground looked cool all cracked up!

WATERMELON

This is the best icypole ever! Watermelon. It looks like a watermelon, tastes like a watermelon but has yummy choc cruch pips! It´s so good! They only sell them in summer!

CRAZY KANEKO

Meet Kaneko. He is my special student. I have a lot of fun teaching him English. He loves games and most of the time makes his own games up. He can´t sit still and ends up all over the classroom. He loves coming up to me to say good morning, how are you.

TYPHOON

This was taken on the 14th of July, the day before the typhoon hit Hamamatsu at a beach close by. Lots of rain and wind. Angry waves!

Basketball Club

I spent an afternoon playing basketball with the girls! The boy in the pic is cool! He loves saying hello to me... ALL THE TIME! Like, every 2 seconds!

ART CLUB

This is the etching I was working on in art club! So much fun!

Toyodaminami

I know, I know, it has been way toooooo long! Just to fill you all in quickly- I have been keeping very busy... this is the latest school I have been teaching at- Toyodaminami Junior High. In these pics we were making thongs out of material. The old man next to me kept talking to me and I didnt understand a thing he was saying but he kept talking even though the english teacher told him I didnt speak Japanese! Cute! Anyways, the kids are great. A group of girls have been teaching me Japanese words such as agepan and sagepan (like harry highpants and sagepan when you wear your pants low). Hehe. Oh, I love it!

Two weeks ago we went to Toyami which is north, about a 4 and a half hour drive and a lot colder than Hamamatsu. Minol had a no rules fight. He won. The guy he beat is the one on the left holding ice to his face.

These girls are awesome! Soooo funny! I sit with them at lunch time and they teach me Japanese. The girl on the very left is from the Philipines and her English is pretty good so I talk with her a lot. She does a really good impression of the girl from ´The Ring´!! Japanese kids are CRAZY!
