GRAB GRAB GRAB

It's so tiring having a little boy who WANTS everything.  GRAB GRAB GRAB and straight to the mouth.  And sooky la la when he can't have it!  Nah, really, it's actually wonderful seeing my little boy grow and develop and CHANGE so much.  He makes Minol and I laugh so much.  He was so giggly tonight, especially when his clothes come off ready for his bath.  He only has to look at me and give me a big squeal and it starts.  He goes crazy when he's tickled!  Being a mother is just so exciting.  

I don't know where Minol gets these crazy ideas from... carrying Baby Minol around in his trackies!

Well I guess his family in brazil do call Baby Minol a little kangaroo.  He looks like a little joey in a pouch!

Chicken Laksa

Nah, it wasn't made by me...hehe.  My amazing husband made this yummy chicken laksa.  Last week he was really sick but as soon as he got his appetite back he wanted to eat laksa so laksa it was.  He just looks up recipes on the internet to get an idea of the ingredients and then whips it up with his own twist.  This was yummy with fresh corriander on top.  One day I'll be able to "whip" things up!

Pancakes and Little Helping Hands

Minol LOVES the bath.  I can't wait to take him swimming in Brazil, he's going to love it!  Here's a pic of what happens when daddy dries him and gets him ready for bed- woaaah with the powder already!

Wassuuuuuup?! We are BACK and rearing to BLOG!  We got the internet today, hip hip hooray!  Got some pics to upload and blog about so I'll get onto that!!  Oooooh, how exciting!

Ok, I'm not very good at updating my blog at the moment. BORING I know! Anyway, the latest news is that Minol and I are taking Baby Minol to see his Grandparents and extended family in BRAZIL! We leave about the 23rd of October. It's very exciting (but also a bit scary!) At the moment I'm back working three mornings a week which is wonderful but I do miss my little man who is growing up so quickly. We have so much fun together. He is such a giggler and laughs so much! He is a crazy little thing. No hope when you have crazy parents hey! Well it's back to work for me so toodles for now!

Going back a month here are some pics from the Osbaldiston visit!  Here's the cousins having a bath together.  Scarlett was very good helping me bath Minol.  She was gorgeous with her new cousin- patting his head, giving him gentle hugs, "Baby Minol".  Ollie on the other hand loved baby Minol but would grab him and pull him towards him!  No Ollie, you can't eat Minol.

My little man has survived his surgery the little champ!  So did I!  I'll have a big blog at the end of the week to catch up on EVERYTHING!  For now I'll leave it at this with a couple of pics!  Oh I miss the internet!

still alive

Well well well... yes, that's right- I'm still alive! I've got so much to blog about but no time to do it! So just a quick update. Firstly we had a wonderful couple of weeks with Ank, Bink, Nick and the little tackers Scarlett and Ollie down for a visit. We loved having them here and wish they would hurry up and MOVE down! Collette and Jess came down for Launieville too for a visit. Ooooh, and Minol and I have moved into the house whoohoooo! It's great having our own place although I miss having mum on hand all the time...hehe. Last week I started work. Just doing three mornings a week doing some tutoring which is so easy compared to teaching a whole class! So it's nice relaxing work. And next week Baby Minol has his little lip surgery. So busy busy busy. Anyway, that's just a quick update- more pics and details whenever I get a chance!

Minol had a little play with Rowan on Friday afternoon when Chels bought the girls over for a little visit.  He is such a boof compared to her!  Ok, so he is a couple of weeks older.  He's such a little boy now!    I love it that he talks so much.  He can be a noisy little thing.  Anyway, I got some cute pics of the two little munchkins.  In the first couple of pictures it looks like they are whispering little baby secrets to each other.  And then there's the cute picture which looks like they're about to hold hands.  Sooooooo adorable!

Smiles for Grandma

My little man does the biggest smiles for his Grandma!  It's so cute!  I think he smiles more for her than me!  She's good at hyping him up... I'm just the milk!

When I leave my two boys together (even when one is sleeping), they still seem to find ways of amusing themselves.

Baby Minol's Grandma from Brazil sent this cap with some other stuff.  It's big Minol's soccer team from Brazil- Flamengo I think they are called.  And you probably know how big soccer is in Brazil!  Anyway we tried it on him today.  He prefers the backwards stylin'.
