Sunday Stroll

I will never go for a stroll up the bush with mum and dad again! They are crazy!
"Lets go this way back," says Dad, heading into the thick brush of dry grass and pokey sticks. Mum and I follow trusting this is the best way back. WRONG! Although it was quite an adventure reaching the house I had to put up with mum and dad and their crazy commentating. Gotta love them! Nice view from the top of the hill too, so all in all it was a nice little outing.

Been playing basketball on saturday mornings with the guys. (And Fiona). It's good fun. Keeps me fit, makes me sweat!

PANPACS '06

This year I went to the Pan Pacifics as a spectator (+ coach). So it was nice and non stressful. Got to meet World Champ Xande Ribeiro too which was cool. It was a big long day but lotsa fun. Fiona lost on points in both her fights but she was up against big girls, and whooo hooo she got medals for it! She did an awesome job! Can't wait til next year to compete again.

Christi came up to our house after school on Tuesday. Just before she left she realised she had her shoes on the wrong feet. She'd put them back on after rowing in the morning and had gone the whole day with them like that! What a dork! But we love her anyway!

Saturday night we had a bit of a young adult party to welcome Bec Dowe who turned the big 18 today...hehe. The night was full of fun for everyone. Food, Pass the Parcel, Singstar, Moose... and Boogying On Down (even had the cool lights happening!)

OFFICEWORKS

Collette came down friday night YAY! We popped into Officeworks to check out the bookshelves on sale and while the guy was checking to see if they had any in stock, he suggested we try racing the computer chairs. So of course we took up the offer. We tried out the clearance chairs... we know why there being cleared now. Not good for racing. Reject chairs-that's what they are. Had a ball with Collette. Went shopping today. SOoooooooo good to have a shopping buddy. I've been lost without Julia!

not again

there goes another toenail...
It all started in brisbane in june playing soccer with pud and bink's soccer team wearing pud's runners. Got a black toenail. Then the other monday (on my birthday) after basketball I noticed it had bled a little and was a bit oozy. Then during bjj training on thursday night whadda ya know... it kinda got caught and almost ripped off. I wish it had! It's just stuck on now from the bottom. So hopefully another one will grow quickly and release the crusty black one!
