Oh Beautiful World

I just love the world! Here's three cool pics.

1. In the plane on the way back from Brisbane. I love these clouds. It's like a cloud city or cloud hills or cloud I don't know what but it's cool.

2. Sun setting at Midway Point (no luck fishing there this time but worth the view).

3. Second fishing spot. No fish but once again gorgeous view. The moon was huge as it was coming up. (Need a better camera for cool night shots).

Christmas '07

How slack am I. Finally putting some Christmas pictures up! I loved reading everyone else's Christmas blogs, it's great seeing how everyone spends their Christmas. This year was much quieter with the Brisbane Crew not able to come down this time (they all came down for the wedding!). But we had a nice Christmas Eve dinner with some freinds and missionaries and lovely Christmas Day with the rellies. We had a play of mum's badminton. And the crazy cousins went SWIMMING in the FREEZING pool. And I have to say how cute mum and dad looked in their elf hats. Cuuuuuuuuuuute! They are such dorks. Yes, I get my dorkiness off them.

Oi Oi Oi!

I love little Ollie! We dressed him in his little outfit we got him in Japan. He loves people talking to him and making faces at him. He gave us some gorgeous smiles. Minol was playing with him for a bit and for a long time Ollie was smiling away... but then gave Minol this funny look!

I love Scarlet! She is such a gorgous little munchkin! While she was down in Hobart last she took a liking to Minol and would run into the room saying "minolminolminol". When we were in Brissy she would call out to us saying "essieminol, essieminol". I wish we could have spent longer with them before they all went to New Zealand! It's always so great spending time with the family. Here's some pics of us having fun with Scarlett.

Pool Adventures

A few weeks ago Minol and I headed to Brissy. We did a little house sitting while Bink and Nick and the kiddies went on their own adventure to New Zealand! (Can't wait to hear about it and see some pics!) So we spent a day with Bink & co. before they set off and spent the rest of the time annoying Pud and Spank! Here's some pics of Julia trying to save the little lizard from Minol who had rescued it from the pool, then chucked it back into the middle of the pool. The water was freezing so good on Julia!

Saturday, Sun and Strawberries

Last Saturday was such a beautiful sunny day. I went for a drive with ma and pa. And listened to my ipod in the back and enjoyed the beautiful warmth of the sun through the window! On our drive Dad bought some strawberry plants and so that afternoon Mum and I planted them in the veggie garden.

busy, busy, busy

At the moment I have been keeping very BUSY!! Since I've been back in Tas I've been busy with my wedding planner (MUMSIE) preparing and organising stuff for the big day. (Not long to go now!) And on top of that I'm straight back into relief teaching! I've been out at New Norfolk Primary everyday since I had my police check renewed(except yesterday...I had to say no so I could get some wedding stuff done)! I've had a couple of days doing PE relief (and again tomorrow) which is great. I had fun playing 'Wizards and Gelflings' with the little tackers today. I just love the kids at New Norfolk! I'm so tired now though! Just had a nice bath and will spend the rest of the evening with my feet up!

the beginning

I'm excited cos Bink passed onto me some digital scrap booking stuff and I really wanna get into it. I've started playing with things but need MORE to play with! So I'll be expecting Bink to give me some tutorials when she comes down at the end of the month! Whoohooo! And of course Chels... when you get back! Hehe.

Loser Playoffs

This is Fiona & Collette playing off for the loser LOSER position. Both having lost to me previously (YEAH, THE 8 BALL QUEEN) we had to see who was the biggest loser. And of course Collette had the brilliant idea that whoever lost had to go get sweets for us to nibble on for the big FOOTY GRAND FINAL! What a great idea, too bad Collette lost... WHOAAAHHAAAAHAAAAAARRRRRR (evil laugh).

Power OFF

So what do you do when it's the footy grand final day and you're not a big footy freak? Well... Collette, Fiona and I had our own party. YES, we did watch the footy!! But at three quarter time when (what's that team??) oh yeah, when Port Adelaide were absolutely kicking umm, Geelong...yeah, the cats hey...their butts... we went for a little outting. So Fiona was the 'get-away' driver, Mwa- the photographer, and oh poor Collette got to DO the dirty deed! Can't tell you what it was though. Go figure!

Oh, so nah, we just turned the power off while a few people were still watching the game. TWICE!! Lucky we didn't do it again cos we would have been dead. We already caused two goals to be missed. Oh the life!
